Absorption of 5G sub-6 GHz electromagnetic radiation from base station to male reproduction system

Background The impact of electromagnetic radiation from communication on the male reproductive system has emerged as a significant concern in public health. A notable distinction of the 5G sub-6 GHz band, compared to traditional 2G, 3G, and 4G frequency bands, is the inclusion of higher frequency bands. This has raised public concerns regarding the potential effects of these higher frequencies on organisms, particularly their reproductive systems. While it is imperative to investigate the biological effects and potential risks associated with these new frequency bands in laboratory settings, comparing and evaluating differences between various frequency bands remain challenging due to the absence of standardized parameters such as exposure conditions and duration. In contrast, dose assessment offers a simpler and more reliable approach. Materials and methods The dose assessment method was employed in this study to investigate the risks associated with sub-6 GHz electromagnetic radiation from 5G base stations on the male reproductive system. A classical human body model (Duke) was utilized, and an electromagnetic simulation environment was established based on the actual polarization direction of the exposed base stations and various body postures. This research explored the effects of field direction, posture, public population, and frequency on the specific absorption rate of the reproductive system. Results and conclusions While maintaining the same level of exposure, a higher frequency results in a reduced dosage on reproductive system. Further analysis reveals that, considering the public exposure threshold, the employment of higher frequency bands in 5G sub-6 GHz does not present a greater dosage on reproductive system compared to lower frequency bands. Consequently, with regard to dosage, there is no need for excessive concern among the general public regarding the impact of electromagnetic radiation emitted by 5G base stations operating below 6 GHz on male reproductive health.

TO THE EXPEDIENCY OF STUDENTS' TRAINING IN ELECTROMAGNETIC POLLUTION PROTECTION

Problem statement. Electromagnetic radiation is a combination of electric and magnetic radiation, the energy of which, when it affects a given material body, does not cause an ionisation process in it. Natural electromagnetic radiation not only guarantees the proper development of every living organism, but also affects the change of seasons and weather. Humans have disturbed the Earth's natural electromagnetic environment by including devices that emit electromagnetic energy in a wide range of frequencies. Artificial electromagnetic fields accompany us everywhere: at home, at work, on the road, and during leisure. The sanitary and hygienic state of the environment, including the electromagnetic situation in populated cities, is of great hygienic importance for ensuring proper living conditions for the population. The electromagnetic situation in cities and other settlements is created by a large number of radio and electrical equipment for economic, defence and other purposes. The purpose of the article. To conduct a systematic analysis of the impact of electromagnetic radiation from various types of electrical equipment on the environment. It is shown that electromagnetic radiation is dangerous both for the population as a whole, especially for children, and for personnel who operate powerful equipment - sources of electromagnetic radiation. Conclusion. Studies of electromagnetic radiation in the environment show that prolonged exposure to powerful electromagnetic fields can cause illness and even death. Therefore, rules for using artificial sources of electromagnetic radiation should be followed to minimise the damage to both human health and the environment. These rules are not so difficult to follow, but they are quite effective. And for labour protection and civil safety specialists, this knowledge will enable them to create safe working conditions in the workplace.

The purpose of the article is to determine the impact of electromagnetic radiation from electric vehicles. Hybrid and electric cars emit extremely low-frequency electromagnetic radiation (EMR) or magnetic fields. Studies of EMF levels emitted by cars show that they pose a threat to human health. Measurements of the magnetic induction of internal combustion engine cars, electric cars, and hybrid cars confirm that the magnetic field induction of an electric car is twice as high as that of an internal combustion engine car and does not depend on the speed of movement. The magnetic field induction of a hybrid car is greater than that of an electric car and tends to depend on the speed of movement. The magnetic field induction during external charging of an electric vehicle in the cabin is much lower than when driving. The average value of magnetic field induction in the interior of an electric vehicle is 0.85 ± 0.18 μT; Coverage factor K = 2 at a confidence level of P = 0.95. The magnetic field induction of an electric vehicle is twice as high as that of a car with an internal combustion engine and does not depend on the speed of movement. The average value of magnetic field induction in the interior of a hybrid car is 1.28 ± 0.61 μT; Coverage factor K = 2 at a confidence level of P=0.95. The magnetic field induction of a hybrid car is higher than that of an electric car and tends to depend on the speed of movement.The conducted studies show that electrical equipment in electric vehicles and, in particular, in an electric car and a hybrid car is a source of alternating EMF with strong temporal and spatial heterogeneity in the frequency range from 0 to hundreds of megahertz. This is due to the fact that the MF in an electric vehicle and a hybrid car is a superposition of fields from many sources. The direct sources of MF in electric vehicles are traction motors, rechargeable traction batteries, current-carrying elements, various electrical equipment, such as starting and braking resistance, group switches, rheostat units, electrical circuits for ventilation, lighting, heating, etc. Electronic devices on board are usually higher-frequency than MFs due to changes in the driving mode of electric and hybrid vehicles.

Dynamics analysis, synchronization and FPGA implementation of multiscroll Hopfield neural networks with non-polynomial memristor

The number of attractors in a memristor-based multiscroll Hopfield Neural Network (HNN) is typically coupled with the number of polynomials, which leads to a coupling between the computational complexity and resource utilization in circuit implementation. To decouple this relationship, we propose a non-polynomial memristor that satisfies the Lipschitz condition. Regardless of whether it is used to simulate synaptic behavior, simulate the impact of electromagnetic radiation, or a combination of both scenarios, it can conveniently control the generation of single-direction or multiple-direction multiscroll attractors without adding or reducing any terms. By constructing Lyapunov functions, the sufficient condition for these multiscroll memristor HNNs to be bounded is obtained. After improving the feasibility of linear matrix inequalities, a strongly adaptive observer is proposed. After uniting an adaptive sliding mode control method, we propose a new adaptive synchronization scheme to simulate neural network synchronization. Finally, the digital circuit implementation and functional verification of these memristor-based multiscroll HNNs are completed using a field-programmable gate array (FPGA). Based on this, an image encryption circuit is designed so that the FPGA can directly encrypt images and transmit them to the IO device.

The Impact of Structural Variations and Coating Techniques on the Microwave Properties of Woven Fabrics Coated with PEDOT:PSS Composition

Minimizing the impact of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) holds paramount importance in safeguarding individuals who frequently utilize electrical and electronic devices. Electrically conductive textiles, which possess specialized EMR shielding features, present a promising solution to mitigate the risks related to EMR. Furthermore, these textile-based shielding materials could find application as radar-absorbing materials in stealth technology, emphasizing the need for substantial absorption capabilities in shielding mechanisms. In this study, various textile-based materials with an electrically conductive coating that contain the conjugated polymer system poly(3,4-ethylene-dioxythiophene)-polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) were prepared and investigated. The influence of the textile substrate structural parameters, coating deposit, and coating method on their microwave properties—transmission, reflection, and absorption—was investigated. Reflection and transmission measurements were conducted within a frequency range of 2 to 18 GHz. These measurements revealed that, for the tested samples, the shielding properties are determined by the combined effect of reflection and absorption. However, the role of these two parameters varies across the tested frequency range. It was defined that for fabrics coated on one side, better reflection reduction is obtained when the shielding effectiveness (SE) is below |20| dB. It was found that by controlling the coating deposition on the fabric, it is possible to fine-tune the electrical properties to a certain extent, thereby influencing the microwave properties of the coated fabrics. The studies of prepared samples have shown that reflection and transmission parameters depend not only on the type and quantity of conductive paste applied to the fabric but also on the fabric’s construction parameters and the coating technique used. It was found that the denser the substrate used for coating, the more conductive paste solidifies on the surface, forming a thicker coat on the top. For conductive fabrics with the same substrate to achieve a particular SE value using the knife-over-roll coating technology, the required coating deposit amount is considerably lower as compared with the deposit necessary in the case of screen printing: for the knife-over-roll-coated sample to reach SE 15 dB, the required deposit is approximately 14 g/m2; meanwhile, for a sample coated via screen printing, this amount rises to 23 g/m2.

Estimation of Electromagnetic Radiation Distribution in the Human Heart Rate at Different Frequencies‏‏

The health implications of electromagnetic radiation have been extensively debated due to the sharp increase in the usage of cell phones, Wi-Fi transmitters and other microwave equipment. Electromagnetic radiation affects the autonomic nervous system, heart rate, blood pressure and other cardiovascular functions. This study aims to present a Numerical Simulation of Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) on the human heart tissue and to explore the effect of different frequencies in the spectral range (900, 1,800 and 2,400 MHz) on Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), power density, the Distribution of Electromagnetic Fields by Matlab program, and Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method in One Dimension (1D). A 1-dimensional finite difference method was used to solve Maxwell’s equations in heart tissue. The heart model was subjected to electromagnetic radiation that has dielectric properties according to frequency. Frequency was chosen and the operation of the software program as Matlab and the dielectric attribute has been calculated. Concurring with the Frequency in a private program, are the conductivity, relative permittivity, wavelength and infiltration profundity. The amplitudes of the reflected and transmitted sinusoid waves, relative to the occurrence wave, were portrayed by the reflection coefficient and the transmission coefficient, which relate to the amplitudes of the electric field wave. The electric field, magnetic field and power density were simulated along the line X = Y = 0. The study showed that the impact of electromagnetic radiation depends on the frequency of the wave which hit the heart. It was found that the heart tissue reacts more at 900 MHz compared to 1,800 and 2,400 MHz, and the tissue absorption is higher at the lower frequency. There was a relation between the magnetic field in the y-dimension and the time step the in x-dimension. Impact of Power-Line Communication Radiation on Human Health

The advent of smart electrical grids (Smart-grids) has created the need for a reliable communication system within traditional electrical grids. Many technologies are available on the market for communication in smart-grids environment. Communication using PLC (Power-Line Communication or power-line carrier) technology is by far the best choice for operators of these smart-grids, because it uses the electrical cables already in place as a communication link. Unfortunately, since the electrical grid (frequency = 50/60 Hz) was not designed for the transport of high-frequency signals, in PLC mode (100 kHz - 30 MHz) the electrical cables behave like antennas and emit electromagnetic radiation in the nearby environment. This work is a contribution in the evaluation of electromagnetic radiation impact of PLC technology on human health. According to ICNIRP (International Commission for Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection), this type of assessment in done base on SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) and ∆T (tissue temperature raising during exposure to radiation). PLC cables radiation SAR and ∆T are confront with ICNIRP-limits (Guidelines). In order to cover many exposure scenario, interaction between the radiation of an Outdoor-PLC cable and a human head have been analyze using analytical approach (Maxwell equations) and numerical approach (simulation with Feko software). These analyses have demonstrated that exposure to Outdoor-PLC cable electromagnetic radiation is not harmful to human being. For a long-term exposure of human head to PLC cable electromagnetic radiation, The SAR is less than 1nW/Kg and ∆T under 10-5 °C (Far from ICNIRP limits). Analyses have also produce a simplified expression of PLC cable electromagnetic radiation SAR base on Biot-&-Savart law.

Protecting IoТ Wearable Devices from Electromagnetic Radiation Using Radio-Opaque Fabrics

The number of sources of electromagnetic radiation is increasing every day. In most cases, electromagnetic radiation has a negative effect on the human body, animals, and other living beings. Electromagnetic radiation negatively affects the operation of electronic devices. Due to the electromagnetic radiation of electronic devices, information may leak from them. The negative impact of electromagnetic radiation on the human body provokes a high level of fatigue, headache, heartache, etc. The everyday use of mobile equipment, household magnetic appliances (for example, microwave ovens), and telecommunication networks puts the majority of the planet's population at risk. Otherwise, the external influence of electromagnetic fields on the various sensors used in the IoT can contribute to receiving incorrect data from the sensors. The powerful external influence of the electromagnetic field on devices that process large data sets can contribute to a failure in mathematical calculations. Thus, protection from electromagnetic fields is necessary not only for electronic devices but also for human protection. Radio-opaque fabrics are one of the modern materials for protection from electromagnetic radiation. They can be used to protect stationary objects and wearable IoT devices and to protect people. Industrial samples of foreign and Ukrainian radio-opaque fabrics were analyzed in the work. Ukrainian manufacturers continue to develop new variants of radio-opaque fabrics. The next options for radiopaque fabrics are fabrics G7, G8, and G9. The article proposed and described a method of researching the shielding properties of the fabric. Experimental studies were carried out, and the shielding coefficient was calculated in the frequency range of 50 MHz - 2 GHz for two fabrics G7 and G8. Experimental studies were carried out for two cases of the location of fabric fibers relative to the radiating antenna and field polarization. Plots of dependences of the shielding coefficient for two fabrics with different locations of fabric fibers were presented. A comparative analysis of the shielding coefficients of two fabrics was made, and relevant conclusions were presented.

Analysis of Electromagnetic Radiation of Mobile Base Stations Co-located with High-Voltage Transmission Towers

This paper presents the analysis of electromagnetic radiation of mobile base stations co-located with high-voltage transmission towers. Although the layout of power poles and towers is uniform and symmetrical, the electromagnetic field radiated to the outside world is asymmetric. Field measurements were conducted in different co-located base station scenarios, and the field strength results in both the vertical and horizontal directions were analyzed in depth. Then, the ray tracing simulation method was used to obtain the electromagnetic field distribution characteristics for the 5G base station co-located high-voltage tower. Finally, the specific absorption rate (SAR) was adopted to evaluate human exposure in co-located base station scenarios, and a physical area-based human exposure assessment method proposed. The obtained results can be useful for inspectors of mobile base stations co-located with high-voltage transmission towers to avoid or reduce the impact of electromagnetic radiation.

It can be proved that in a constant magnetic field, the high-speed electron or photon of having a relatively large curvature radius, which has a high moving speed and less mass, energy and wave frequency. Since Einstein used the absolute space-time established by Newton as the criterion and came to the conclusion that the relative space-time was curved, then he should no longer make circular arguments, that was, used the relative space-time as the criterion, to change the unit length and time established by the absolute space-time.

Heterogeneous radio absorbing composite materials based on powdered charcoals for electronic devices protection from the electromagnetic radiation impact

The results of theoretical and experimental substantiation of the technique developed by the authors for the manufacture of heterogeneous (two- or three-layer) radio absorbing composite materials based on powdered charcoals are presented. The technique is based on layer-by-layer pouring of mixtures of a gypsum binder and powdered charcoal (non-activated birch, activated birch, activated coconut) into molds in the order in which the outer (relative to the electromagnetic radiation propagation front) layer of the composite material is characterized by the lowest wave resistance, and the inner layer is characterized by the highest wave resistance. The specified order is determined by the results of the theoretical substantiation of the developed technique. In the course of its experimental substantiation, regularities for changing the electromagnetic radiation reflection and transmission coefficients values of the manufactured materials depending on the value of the radiation frequency in the range of 0.7–17.0 GHz have been established. Based on the established regularities, it was stated that the minimum value of the electromagnetic radiation reflection coefficient of the two-layer materials manufactured according to the developed and substantiated technique (thickness ~ 5.0 mm) is –12.0 ± 1.0 dB and corresponds to electromagnetic radiation frequencies of 0.8 and 2.6 GHz (it’s provided, when such materials are fixed on metal substrates). The minimum value of the electromagnetic radiation reflection coefficient of the three-layer materials (thickness ~ 10.0 mm) under the specified condition is also –12.0 ± 1.0 dB and corresponds to electromagnetic radiation frequencies of 4.5 and 6.0 GHz. The electromagnetic radiation transmission coefficient values of such materials decrease with an average step of 4.0 dB as the frequency of the radiation increases by 1.0 GHz in the range of 2.0–10.0 GHz and increase with a similar step as the frequency increases by 1.0 GHz in the range of 10.0–17.0 GHz. The minimum value is –30.0 ± 2.0 dB. The materials manufactured according to the developed and substantiated technique seem to be promising for ensuring the protection of electronic devices from the effects of electromagnetic interference (both active and passive types).

Effects of Electromagnetic Radiations emitted from Cell Phone towers on Avifaunal diversity in urban landscape of Aligarh region, India

A field survey was conducted from January 2022 to December 2022 in the urban area of Aligarh region to access the possible effects of electromagnetic radiations emitted from cell phone towers on the avifaunal diversity. For the purpose of study three sites were selected in this region comprising one control site without any cell phone tower. Data were collected on the basis of point count and sighting method. Calculations were carried using Shannon and Weiner’s diversity index. Electric Field strength was measured using instrument LATNEX Triple Axis HF-B3GR meter. The survey revealed high impact of electromagnetic radiations on the avifaunal species abundance and richness, behavior, breeding, feeding patterns and migration rate.

Protection of biological objects from electromagnetic radiation

The article deals with issues related to the impact of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) on humans and biological objects (bio-objects). Such types of radiation as electromagnetic fields of low frequency and microwave range, infrared and ultraviolet and ionizing radiation are considered. Data on the harmful effects of EMR on biological objects are given. The basic principles of protection against EMR are considered.

CONCEPTUAL MODELING OF THE DATABASE OF GIS MONITORING OF ELECTROMAGNETIC POLLUTION OF SETTLEMENTS

The article presents the results of conceptual modeling of the geospatial database for monitoring electromagnetic pollution of settlements. Recently, the world has seen a rapid increase in the number of sources and the level of electromagnetic radiation. This can negatively affect people's health and their environment. The analysis of the publications showed that today researchers have formed a theoretical base for assessing the impact of electromagnetic radiation on people and the environment, developed models of the propagation of electromagnetic waves, ways and methods of protection against their harmful effects. However, not enough attention has been paid to monitoring the electromagnetic pollution of settlements. Systematic measurements of electromagnetic field levels are carried out only by individual EU countries Systematic control of this type of pollution is not carried out in Ukraine, there are no regulatory documents regarding the procedure for its monitoring, but the maximum permissible levels of electromagnetic fields for the population are established. Data on the distribution of electromagnetic fields are interdisciplinary in nature and necessarily contain an indication of the location of objects. For their effective processing, it is advisable to use geo-information technologies. Based on the results of the analysis of the subject area of electromagnetic pollution monitoring, a conceptual data model was developed. It is described using UML tools. The model contains two sets of data. The basic set of geospatial data includes information about buildings of various purposes, land plots, streets, highways, railways, engineering communications, relief, soils, hydrography, territory zoning, facility addresses. The profile set includes data on electromagnetic radiation sources and their sanitary protection zones, control points, the results of calculations and measurements of radiation parameters, the relative level of electromagnetic fields and the building restriction zones. The proposed model can be the basis of the physical modeling of the settlement's electromagnetic pollution monitoring system. 
  

Electromagnetic radiation of hybrid vehicles

Problem. As a result of automobile traffic every year 20-30% of the territory of cities are subject to electromagnetic pollution in cities and settlements. This is due to the increase in power and number of electrical equipment of each individual car. The urgency of the problem of electromagnetic pollution is an important step in determining the impact of electromagnetic radiation on humans in the rapid development of hybrid cars. Goal. The aim of this work is to determine the effect of electromagnetic radiation on humans in the conditions of rapid development of hybrid cars. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: review anthropogenic electromagnetic fields; find the elements of the electromagnetic field in a hybrid car; consider the most common methods of protection against electromagnetic fields. Methodology. The article presents a general classification of electromagnetic radiation to humans arising in hybrid vehicles. It is extremely important to reveal the phenomena occurring in hybrid cars in the research work to find the truth and the processes of occurrence of electromagnetic radiation. This issue is given primary importance, because finding effective technical, environmental and other methods and means of protecting people in hybrid and other vehicles is extremely necessary and in demand at the present stage. Thus, based on the characteristics of the material and aspects of its analysis determined the structure of the text in which some of the facts are given using the information available in the attached literature. Results. The result of the work were the proposed methods of shielding high-frequency and low-frequency levels based on physical properties – the reflection and absorption of electromagnetic waves during the transition from one medium to another. Originality. Methods of studying the effect of electromagnetic radiation on a person in vehicles (automotive, hybrid, electric) and especially on the reaction of a biological cell, its vital activity, require in-depth research to determine criteria, acceptable standards and optimal methods of protection against EMF and EMI. Practical value. The practical significance of this study is focused on readers and researchers of vehicles (automotive, hybrid, electric) which are interested in the negative effects of electromagnetic radiation, protection of passengers and drivers from them. The impact of electromagnetic radiation from hybrid and other types of vehicles on humans is a necessary task not only for scientists but also for manufacturers of these modes of transport, who for unknown reasons are trying to "freeze" the proposals and technical solutions offered by the World Scientific Society.

MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF ASSESSMENT OF THE INFLUENCE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS ON POLLUTION OF AGRICULTURAL LAND

This work studies the impact of electromagnetic fields on the degradation of agricultural land. During the analysis of available sources of information, it was found that in the scientific publications by domestic authors, there is no mention of such a factor of land degradation as the action of electromagnetic fields (EMF) of man-made origin. Numerous scientific works by foreign experts present the results of experimental studies that confirm the negative impact of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) of power lines (PL) on agricultural land. The application of mathematical methods of modelling the dynamics of the distribution of the number of microorganisms or other soil components in the irradiation zone of power lines can be the basis for biomonitoring in the system of construction technologies to protect agricultural land from electromagnetic pollution. The paper presents statistical models designed to assess the impact of electromagnetic fields on pollution of agricultural land and conduct appropriate biomonitoring. The dependence of the number of fungi in the soil on the distance to the 110 kV power line at different seasons and the dynamics of the intensity of adaptation processes in the soil at different distances from the power line (PL) was constructed. The methods of regression, variance and cluster analysis were used in the development of models, and the corresponding elasticity functions were constructed. It is shown that the application of modern data processing methods allows obtaining additional information even from the already published results of work performed by various researchers.

REVIEW OF RESEARCH OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD ON HUMAN WORKING WORK AND DEVELOPMENT OF METHODS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE SCREENING

This article discusses the issues of life safety of living objects under conditions of constant influence of an electromagnetic field on them. A planned laboratory facility for further research has been proposed. The mathematical apparatus of the generated electromagnetic field by the traction electric motor by the rolling stock of electric transport is shown. Conclusions are made that suggest the creation of special protective clothing for everyday use by humans with a constantly acting electromagnetic field in a man-made environment. Modern man is constantly in the zone of electromagnetic radiation, the influence of which cannot be avoided. Only by minimizing radiation by avoiding areas with increased electromagnetic activity and developing modern means of protection can ensure a safe and harmonious stay of a person in a modern technogenic environment of existence. If we turn to statistics and analyze the issue of the impact of electromagnetic radiation on the human body and study the problems that arise after its negative influence, we will find that almost all human systems and organs are negatively influenced with destructive consequences. This article discusses the latest developments in the field of electromagnetic waves on the human body. The most actual problems connected with work of electric transport as the technogenic environment are analyzed. The mathematical apparatus and the equation of the electromagnetic field for the electric motor are offered to create the mathematical models showing dependence of growth of an electromagnetic field depending on operating modes of the vehicle and places of stay of the passenger in vehicle interior. Еlectromagnetic radiation in the form of clothing, which will allow a comfortable and safe stay of people in a new man-made environment.

Analysis and prediction of electromagnetic field distribution characteristics for mobile base station co-located with high voltage transmission tower

In order to understand the impact of electromagnetic radiation on power inspectors who work on a high voltage transmission tower equipped with a mobile base station, we investigate the electromagnetic field distribution characteristics of the mobile base station co-located with high voltage transmission tower. Electromagnetic field intensity measurements in the realistic scenario of 4G base station co-located with 220 kV high-voltage transmission tower are performed, and field intensity measurement data in the ground area around the tower and in the vertical direction inside the tower are acquired. Based on the ray tracing simulation and depending on experimental verification, the electromagnetic field distribution characteristics of mobile base station co-located with high-voltage transmission tower are comprehensively analyzed. According to the measurement and simulation results, a method for partitioning strong, middle and weak field intensity areas is proposed. Finally, the radial basis function neural network is applied to the field strength prediction, and a prediction model for electromagnetic field distribution characteristics is established. These results can provide a reference for the safe operation and inspection in the scenario of mobile base station co-located with high voltage transmission tower.
